IOHNIC is a new sustainable lighting concept developed and trademarked by Sacyr Concesiones. It solves uniformity, glare, and visibility problems in tunnels. With this system, we aim to improve the experience of drivers, as well as optimizing the life and efficiency of tunnel energy systems.

During the development phase, we carried out several design and prototype tests. As a result, IOHNIC meets the highest quality standards in the industry, ensuring social wellbeing, economic growth, and environmentally responsible consumption. 

Due to its quality and innovative potential, IOHNIC has been awarded with a Quality Innovation Award (QIA) 2023, in the large company category (national and international phases). These awards, granted in the framework of a competition created by Excellence Finland, seek to enhance innovation in each country and on an international level. 

IOHNIC luminaire is manufactured and commercialized by Infratec España, a Sacyr Concesiones technological subsidiary. The company is also in charge of the design, installation and maintenance of the intelligent transport systems and tolls (ITS) for P3 roads in Spain.

Infratec España’s activities place Sacyr Concesiones at the forefront of innovative infrastructures, as an international reference in this field.
