In its origins, IOHNIC was designed as a luminaire for tunnels. In order to adjust to our clients’ needs in an innovative and efficient way, we have increased its capacity and developed solutions that can be applied to other installations. 

Thus, and coupled with the introduction of state-of-the-art technologies, IOHNIC can illuminate train and metro stations, underpasses, pedestrian walkways, industrial pavilions, or warehouses. 

All of this is carried out in accordance with current regulations and in full compliance with the highest international standards and norms. 

Traditionally, the parking lights remain always lit over its entire surface and, if there are motion sensors, only targeted sectors are illuminated. IOHNIC’s combination with this type of sensors, the lighting and visibility of the car parks are significantly improved: by detecting movement, the lights’ level is raised to the required value in the surrounding areas. At the same time, it is a solution that merges environmental and financial criteria: apart from having a lower energy consumption, the system presents controlled and stable costs over time. 

With regard to technology, the solution includes a light level called “moon light” that allows for a low-consumption lighting in the whole facility. This light level offers the clients a better vision and a safety feeling for those areas that have not been affected by movement.
