New applications
The use of our double-circuit luminaires improves the lighting uniformity of the installation and allows a high degree of versatility in its use.
IOHNIC allows to maintain a low light level and low consume for the entire surface, so that the lighting levels and visibility are always constant. This means that up to 90% less energy is consumed compared to the previous installation and use.
IOHNIC’s largest project
It connects the north and south of Santiago de Chile and it is one of Latin America’s most sustainable, modern, and innovative projects. Through different constructive solutions and use of IOHNIC, we have created a long-term solution that alleviates the surface traffic, while enhancing the safety and comfort of the road’s users.
With a length of 22 kilometres of tunnels, Americo Vespucio Oriente is IOHNIC’s largest project in the world.
Expansion in Europe
The Malo Tunnels, among the longest in Italy, have been the perfect setting for our first IOHNIC project in Italy. The Superestrada is a benchmark in sustainability and infrastructure integration, and it contributes to protect the environment of the Veneto region while positioning itself in line with the highest safety standards of the Italian regulations.
A step further in Colombia
The city of Medellin is linked to the country's main road concessions and the core centres of commercial exchange. Autopista al Mar 1 plays a key role in this process. With the lighting of the two tubes of the Fernando Gómez Martínez Tunnel, one of the longest in the Americas, we are carrying out our most emblematic project in the country. Due to our solution, we have contributed to improving the safety of the tunnel and modernising the Antioquian facilities.
Beyond borders
This motorway is the most important road project in Norte de Santander, Colombia, and IOHNIC's first project outside Spain. The project has two objectives: to improve mobility between Colombia and Venezuela, and to make the region a benchmark for technological innovation.
The origin
The AP-46 Highway in Malaga was the testing ground for the design and development of IOHNIC. Due to the collaborative spirit of the Sacyr Concesiones’ employees from different areas, we managed to complete our intrapreneurship project, which is already considered to be the future of tunnel lighting throughout the world.
